SERVICES

  • As an embedded part-time leader, I build end-to-end eCommerce strategy for scale for hyper growth companies. I’ll stand up a team and playbook (audit, foundational marketing, product management, operations) and strategy to drive profitable growth, new business/revenue model, or successful exit.

I was the first Global Digital GM of Apparel at Nike, building out a new organization, category launches/expansion/expansion (Maternity, Yoga, Hijab) and digital journey to get from $500M > $1B in 3 years. I was also on the founding team of Walmart Online Grocery (COS and Marketing Lead), growing service from proof of concept > market 1 > 1000+. Most recently, as VP/GM of eCommerce, I took Vital Proteins eCommerce business (DTC, Amazon, Retailer.com) to 30% YoY profitable growth that led to successful Nestle acquisition in 2023.

  • I help early stage startups launch their eCommerce strategies and teams that understand how eCommerce can help them grow from pre-revenue to series A & beyond. I’ll coach your early hires, setting them up to lead eCommerce at scale.

My time as a 4x eCommerce leader informs this work: I currently advise Seed - Series C (Stripes Co) on organizational structure, eCommerce channel expansion, new product/category launches (GTM), digital marketing, and product management. I also provide 1:1 coaching for former eCommerce 201 students (20+ early stage startup founders) and launched the first eCommerce course (eCommerce 201) on Maven (5/5 stars).

  • I guide late stage startups and publicly traded companies through quarterly or annual eCommerce companywide planning (we reflect on what's working, set ruthlessly prioritized goals, and have a great time doing it). In the process, I help your team build the planning muscle so you can carry on the system when I'm not there.

As a 4x eCommerce leader, I've led companywide planning inside a variety of team sizes and stages, so I know how precious this work is. I built and led a new process at Nike and Walmart, and new evolutions of planning at Everlane and Vital Proteins with the quest to shift to profitable growth.
